Honors: Summer Field Study: “Intro to Environmental Studies” (With Trip to Marinelab, Key Largo, Florida)

Description: Join us for a unique environmental science summer course. We will spend the first five weeks of the semester learning about environmental science at Oakton. Then hit the road and visit MarineLab to learn about marine environmental science first hand. While there we will snorkel daily and explore coral reef, sea grass, and mangrove ecosystems. Students will also participate in research and conservation efforts to support these biodiverse communities.
